Welcome to the Home of Journal of Obvious Results (JOR)
Editor: Nattavudh Powdthavee
Published whenever we have an obvious finding of any kind
About this Journal
Journal of Obvious Results publishes articles that have been rejected more times than the author could remember by other peer-reviewed journals on the ground that 'The results are just too obvious'. The journal welcomes obvious empirical, theoretical, review, and just insight contributions from any scientific field.
Highlights from previous research that should have been published here
"Smoking might kill"
"Walk 4 miles increases the chance of tiredness"
"Body odour does not smell nice"
"Happiness is contagious"
An example of a rejected manuscript based on the fact that the results are not obvious enough
"Drinker can trigger high death rate"
(one referee said - it sounds quite obvious, but just..not obvious enough)
